Ditto on the watch and learn suggestions above from others - don't miss it. These folks really know their stuff and (apparently) can tolerate an amazing number of dumb questions! They work very efficiently but not quickly and they check all crucial fasteners 2 or 3 times - I was impressed. It was 112 degrees but we didn't melt.

(you can get a massage anytime Don!)

Great timing, headed down to GP tomorrow for a Thursday visit. Sounds like I will be watching instead of killing time.

I got my '03 done last month by GP Suspension and it went great. Dave and Ben are professionals, and Troy was very helpful as well. As mentioned earlier, they are happy to have you watch and answer any/all questions. Troy actually gave me a ride to a local restaurant for a late breakfast and came back to pick me up. Started about 9:30 and done in 4 hours.

I'm very pleased with the results and happy to add my endorsement. They do great work and really go out of their way to treat FJRForum members well.

Oh Boy, can't wait. I'll be watching those boys do their magic. Sorry Wheatie, no nasty pictures this time. Good thing it won't be hotter than hell when I ride home! Forecast is for 98 million degrees here on Sat., I did need to lose some weight.

Thursday this week I'm going to ride up for a Friday morning fork and Wilbers rebuild. A few questions for you locals.
Thinking of staying at the Budget Inn in Woodburn to avoid the noisy bigger bucks joints near the interstate. Open to any motels suggestions within 45 minutes of their shop.

With 4-5 hours to kill Friday is there anything to do within walking distance of the shop or just bring a book.

Gotta test the rebuild, eh? Any problems with taking 224 to Detriot and 22 down to 20 and over to Bend while headed back to CA?

Thanks! Bug
I hung around the shop, asked questions, watched the magic CNC machines do their thing, let them take me to lunch, read old copies of Road Racing magazine. There is not really much interesting to do within walking distance, I don't think.

There is a good restuarant (Biscuits) that is a few blocks away by the Fred Meyer. Shouldve had breakfast there, but had a tasty lunch.

I was pretty interested in watching the build. I wouldn't worry about entertainment options, it was very entertaining and I learned a lot staying at the shop. Post coming shortly.
