Now's the time to make the case for lane-sharing!
That would never happen in Oregon. I can guarantee it. I know there are pros and cons, but take from a guy with "inside" information ... not going to happen.

(Of course, my guarantee will now ensure that it happens the next legislative session...)

Just present it as a gas saving measure and "green" thing to do. The OR elected officials will stumble all over themselves to put their name on a Bill.
