Running around rural E. Oregon I would not pass a gas station. Restaurants can be a little scarce but most of the taverns serve food.
Be sure to carry 'em upright, Dave. Those suckers can leak. I'd say DAMHIK, but I suppose it's obvious.I am carrying a few MSR fuel bottles for SportsGuy and I this weekend, just in case, and we are gassing up where we can. Agree on the fuel situation.
Make sure the o-rings are fresh and I never had a leak.Be sure to carry 'em upright, Dave. Those suckers can leak. After that experience, I decided I'll carry a long plastic tube and hope for a generous donor if I need it. AND not passing gas stations, of course.
Agree...finding gas for a FJR in central Oregon is not a problem (or for any other bike with a 175-200 mile range) although premium gas can be hard to find. You are making too much out of the gas issue. Post you routes, max miles on a tank of gas and I will ID your gas stops.
