Monday Jan 15, 12:00 PM, again the weather was great! Decided to go for a ride with a buddy of mine on his 06.

We met at the 5bucks coffee off the 22, then on the 405 to the 5 and then on to Ortega Highway 74 which was almost empty going East. Weather about 65 F, but went down to 45 up on Ortega

First stop

Notice the Sun light effect on the 06 :)

And again after a few twisties, this time with a view in the background.

Then off to Perris for some lunch

Tried to locate a friend in Perris, but the GPS almost took me to some 4X4 road... no luck finding you pegscraper

Then back on Ortega West Bound for some Photo Ops during FJR Sunset

Rode down to Dana Point Harbor towards the end of the sunset and stopped for some nice warm Cappuccino and a Caramel Machiato

I was trying to "make an offer he can't refuse" but not sure why no one could take me seriously

Hope you enjoyed the pics :)

What a great ride we had to Lake Perris and back! I'm the guy on the '06 trying to keep up with BigDolma in the twisties, but I'm also a rookie rider by comparison, so I mostly took it easy and enjoyed the scenery. What a fun ride! Didn't get as cold as I expected and traffic was not bad. Many thanks to BigDolma for being a great lead and helping me break in my '06.

"+1 on CalSci shield..." YES, I really like this shield, great compromise between small and large screens. Cool when down and great protection on the slab.

Looking forward to the next ride!

Tony
