I'd love to go. But, I gotta work that night. I could call in sick, but I'd have to cough up a lung.

Sorry,

I already set aside that day to meet some guys from the TWT forum in Beeville.

FJR Bandit

I would like to meet up with you guys at OST Sat. morning; ride, then leave my bike at Cycle Destinations there in K'ville for tick work... but then the big problem is getting back to La Grange, K'ville bus lines won't work (takes 72 hours!). Know it's impossible timing (can haul over on trailer after Turkey day)- just thought I'd post in case anyone in that area might be coming back to Houston area with a car/truck that afternoon or evening, or even Sunday...Tom (Lonestar)

Oh yeah, new e-mail address- can't figure out how to change it on this forum, but will e-mail you through the forum with it IF you need to get in touch.

I think I may skip OST in the morning unless I hear from someone tonight. I stayed up too late last night working on the TDM and I'm scared of the cold...

I have not been up to Bandera for a while, so think I will go ahead and ride up there tomorrow. See you at OST if you change your mind.

Even if I didn't have to work Saturday night, I might be too whimpy for this ride. It look to be about 40ish in the morning. Ya'll have fun and dress appropriately!

When you start complaining about the cold, think back to one of those August afternoons at about 100 degrees!

Guys please dress for the ride.

I just rode in to San Antonio from Deming, NM. It was 33 degrees when I left and not much warmer when I arrived. So now I am fighting off a cold.

On another note, I dropped off the FJR for her 16,000 mile maintenance and new shoes but walked out with a dirt bike and a ATV as Xmas presents.

My little girl gets a Kawasaki KX110 and my wife gets a Honda TRX 350. So now I can kept the Bandit.

FJR Bandit

? can someone point me to a good instructor for my little girl? And a bad one for the wife....need to collect on the insurance in order to pay for everything. ;) ;)

Kyote and I had a good ride up but I was just a little cold. I rode the TMD so I didn't have much wind protection or electrical hook up. Castroville was overcast when we left and when I got home but Bandera was beautiful not a cloud in the sky. After breakfast Kyote rode on to Camp Wood and I made my way back home via Tarpley and Hondo.

Good ride!

Bandit, way to go starting her young! I'm glad you had a safe ride in from NM. I hate to be cold especially on a trip.

Sorry I couldn't make it. Got the KLR running though, will ride it to work this week. Need some warranty work on the Beemer and a new front wheel for the FJR. Anyone know where I can find one???

And it will be brisk riding the KiLleR, no fairing, no heated grips, no heated seat....the Beemer has spoiled me badly!

Great ride last Saturday. Beautiful day, still surprising how many people were on the road. Hope the weather is as good on our next ride.
