To all in the Northern Hemisphere,
It is literally our darkest day. Today is the winter solstice, the day with the shortest amount of daylight. So that means tomorrow and each day after, we'll begin seeing longer stretches of daylight. Then soon the ice will melt, the crocuses will be poking through, spring rains will wash the sand from the streets and the ring of an I4 will again fill the air! There is hope!!
But first, I've got to fill the snowblower. 7" of snow predicted today. Maybe I'll mount my new GPS to its "handlebars".
All I want for Christmas is one of those mugs from Rider Wearhouse that says "Winter Sucks".
I'll post pics of my driveway later to give all of you TX, FL and CA riders plenty to gloat about. :cold:
<sigh>
