I have been to GNP and it is awewsome to see and ride.
On a side note I read that shokdimn road through Monarch Mt. I thought I was the only person who found that little towm in the forest. Did you stay at the motel that they have there? It was quite an experience and when I left there I headed for GNP

Great report and pics..
PM sent to ya weekend rider.

Wish I could say I was as fortunate as you folks that have ridden a bike thru Glacier. The closest I’ve come to Glacier on a bike was in 1980 on a Kawi H2. Hun was freezing and so was the wife of my riding partner. We only made it as far as Choteau.

Ahh… it is fair to blame turning around on the wife,..... right?

Thanks so much for posting this. Great photos. :D Sunshine on a winter day.How did the border crossings go? Any problems or delays?
The border crossing was no big deal. We crossed into Canada at Portal, ND. When we pulled up we gave them our passports even though they didn't need them. We asked us to remove our helmets and sunglasses to make a positive match and that was it. We crossed back into the US at the Glacier Waterton Peace Park on Hwy 6 just north of GNP. It took a while, they were checking about 5 cars ahead of us. He asked us a couple of questions, like where we went in Canada and where we were from but he was a fellow North Dakotan and let us through pretty quick.
