My town is host to the Connie owners group national event this week. A hotel 2 blocks from my office is sponsoring. They're all over town--I think more than 100 bikes. Think I'll have to tag along for a ride or two with them. Some FJR's will be there. Saw some sweet machinery in the lot already--couple new triumphs, some sidecars, beemers, lots of connies old and new... I'll have to post up a pic or two when it really gets going later in the week...

Just tell them, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th and 11th. First Connie to show its face was 24th. Nuff said.

Well, you'll never lick 'em, so you might as well join 'em. They have and will be there forever.

It's quite an impressive rally. I was taking a look around the parking lot yesterday...probably 80% are connies, then you have beemers, wings, FJR's (seen gen's I II and III), KTM adventure bikes, triumphs.... V-stroms.... 100 sport touring bikes easily.

I have owned a C14 since 2007, been on two C14 forums, but have never seen any reason to join COG or attend a COG event.
