Thanks for that on the Givi. I blew up that picture, and it appears to be a Givi rack.

Here's what the Corbin site says...

• Corbin's Smuggler trunk was designed with the Sport Touring enthusiast in mind. Since storage always seems to be an issue for touring, we made sure that our Smuggler would work properly with the Givi topcase installed. There are two models of the Givi topcase available and we show our Smuggler here working with the larger one. Naturally the smaller Givi topcase works fine too. Notice, the Smuggler door will open & close with the Givi topcase installed and there is no need to remove the trunk to access the Smuggler.

When I inquired it was for the install on a 2006 FJR. The Givi model #357 rack will not work with it because the side support brackets run differently than the OEM Yammi bracket. Whether or not they have a top plate bracket that can be mounted to the factory rack I don't know. That information from Corbin might have been for the 2005 and earlier luggage racks and they are different from the 2006. I'll have the Givi dealer call Givi again to see if they make a top plate that will work.

Did you get the motolights installed?

Nah, I'm waiting for some lighter sockets to come in from a marine supply place. I'm going to try to do all the electrical work in one shot.
