BACKGROUND: (skip down below to see the basis for the post)

It's baseball season again, and I coach a little league team. This will be my 5th year coaching. For four of the last five years, I've made a team web page. I do this for a variety of reasons, but mostly because in the Pacific NW it sometimes rains and I have to cancel practice. When I do, I don't like making a dozen phone calls in 10 minutes. Thus, I put on the main team page the next event with the status of said event. So, tomorrow, we have our first practice, but for the last two days, it's been raining and I'm pretty sure practice will be canceled. So I'll go to the field an hour before practice to see if the field is playable. Instead of driving to the field, testing it, and driving all the way home to update the web page, I wanna be able to do it from the field with my Palm Centro (new version of a Treo).

PROBLEM

So, I go online and find only one program that does FTP and HTML editing, Dragonedit. It works great downloading the HTML file from the team web page, and works well in editing and saving it too. But, I get a DNS error when trying to use the built in FTP uploader. So, I download an FTP only program called vfsftp. I put in my server info, and it too gives me an error. So, now I'm thinking it may be Sprint not liking me doing FTP via their broadband. So, I download another program called MegaLauncher that has an FTP manager in it. It does a wonderful job connecting to my server and uploading and downloading to it.

So, now I know my phone can upload and download via FTP, but there's some problem using Dragonedit or vfsftp. I can use Dragonedit to download and alter the html, but then have to use MegaLauncher to upload it, but I wanna be able to do it all with one program. Plus, MegaLaucher is a huge beast that is mostly superfluous b.s. when all I want is the ftp manager.

Any ideas? Oh, I have sent a message to the maker of Dragonedit to see if they have a fix, but no response yet.

Oh, here's the web page: https://www.ponyfool.com/baseball
