Pannier stickers/decals...

I'm after a set of the badges/stickers that sit in the groove on the side of the panniers - i think all years are the same. anyone got some spare, or know where I can get them from.

I did try the search function, and found nothing relevant - perhaps my search terms were not good enough. If you'd like to post your search results and search criteria, i'd appreciate it....

...so thats why I posted on the "Wanted" forum, and not in the general area: I thought perhaps that someone may have one laying around somewhere, perhaps after a spill or similar. Next time I'll mention that I had already exhausted other options.

I'm in the UK and it isn't easy trying to get a dealer to get hold of something like this. If I want the sticker - which by that i mean the rubber strip stuck to the side of the pannier, then I have to have the pannier as well!

OrangevaleFJR - As i say - should have mentioned it before - i'm UK based. Perhaps I'll email https://vmaxoutlaw.com/university_motors.htm and see if they can ship to the UK - if I can't get anything from here!

Im in the UK also and have been afterone of these strips for nearly a year. No one on any of the forums has got any, and your right, Yamaha will only send out the whole pannier not just the rubber strip. Let me know if you get any.

They should be available for ordering, they are in Canada, prices quoted are Cdn funds.

I looked at the parts sites countless times and I've never spottted the "Optional Saddlebags" item in any of the lists! A case of "Can't see the wood for the trees" - I suppose.

For any of you guys outside of the US, if you can't get these things anywhere, and If US dealers are giving you some out of this world shipping price. Send me the money, I'll buy them for you and forward them onto wherever you are for actual costs. If you trust me of course, If you don't I won't be offended.

If a bunch of you need them, lets get a "group buy" if you will, see how many you all need, and I'll send 10 of them over to one of you in one package (saves shipping) and then one of you guys in the UK can distribute them amongst yourselves.

Gotta love this web site. The other day I noticed the logo had come off one of my panniers. I went to my local Yamaha dealer today to order one.

"No such part. You'd have to get a whole new pannier or see if you can find one at a wrecker."

Five minutes of flicking through search results, and I've got the part number.
