Here are a couple of pics that show a Gen2 oxygen sensor connector.
Very nice photos. :clapping:

Did mine this afternoon, and the bike runs very nice, for the first time. These pics should be over on FJRTech, for those of us with Gen IIs. Well, maybe for the lazy ***** like me, who would rather look at a pic on the web than trace wires back...

Thanks for this. I had suspicion mine was still connected. It was. Two years and 20k+ miles overdue!

On that note, several members noted that they have left their O2 sensor connected. How many of you are running this way? IF so, why? Some have noted that they felt the bike ran better. I wonder...if you left the O2 sensor connected and then dyno tuned the bike if your performance would be as good or better than with it diconnected?

Any thoughts on it?
I did once, but not on purpose. When putting the FJR together after doing a valve adjust I hooked it up, not knowing what it way. 1000 miles away from home the bike just wasn't running very smooth and ran through lots of fuel. Sure, we had a headwind across SD but .. 24 mpg ?!?!? And the CEL was on intermittently. But I was on a long ride and it was tolerable so I put up with it until I got home, 7000 miles later. That's when I found it was hooked up ... and when I unplugged it, the bike ran much better again.

The next time I did the valve adjust and replaced the CCT I noticed the intake cam was off a tooth.. wtf .. how long has it like THAT? Fixed that, and improved my MPG, made it run smoother and got even more power!

OMG, I just took her out for a short 45 miles through the twisties. I cannot believe what I have been missing! The bike is so smooth now and acceleration is much quicker. Bottom end power significantly stronger. Maintenance throttle is much more effortless in corners. I literally had goosebumps down my neck the whole ride. It is a whole new bike!
