Nice to hear from you, Barry. The fleet has been trimmed down substantially. We each have a BMW GS. He has the 1200 and I have the 700. For the desert, he has a KTM 450 and I have his old Yamaha WR250. For those rides when I need to have plates rather than power, I have a Honda CRF230.

Without really meaning to, we've amassed more cars. My fun little roadster was traded for the F350 that tows the trailer. I'm driving the Jeep that used to be Andy's. He's got an old Jeep Wrangler and a Jaguar XJ6.

I am very happy to see you are back on a bike. I am even more happy to see that it is a really good looking bike. That pic with the new RoadCrafter and the bike all shiny and new looks fantastic. I was about to make a comment on the "crash" bars but I would rather we used a different term! All decked out with the luggage, it really looks good. I won't lie, I want one of those myself.

Thanks, Redfish. Let's call them engine bars shall we? I had them put on because this bike will be going off road and my footing is tentative on flat and level pavement. There is a high chance of it falling over, but that's why I got a GS rather than something with a fairing. I also added the bash plate because the frame is lowered which gives it a bigger chance of the undercarriage hitting a rock or something.

The side bags were in for the ride home only. They will be used for road trips only. I'm using the top case daily which is great for locking my helmet in at work.
