Love my 15-22... nice and light. Saw one with a suppressor integrated into the barrel which just made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Use a subsonic .22LR round with the suppressor and the zombies won't even hear it. The action is louder than the shot.

Edit:

Here it is...

Integrally suppressed 15-22

Has anyone here actually killed a zombie?

I'm a bit worried that we're making lots of assumptions about how to kill them.

Speaking of zombies, did anyone see this?

mine is not a tactical, but its a tack driver at 50 yds. Rim fires rule! Death to all Zombies®.

That's funny as all hell.

You have to determine what type of zombies are most likely... fast ones? Slow ones? Slow ones are obviously much easier to deal with. Just remember to always follow the rules:

1. Cardio

2. Double tap

3. Beware of bathrooms

4. Seatbelts

6. Cast iron skillet

7. Travel light

8. Get a kickass partner

12. Bounty paper towels

15. Bowling Ball

17. Don't be a Hero... or Be a Hero (situationally dependent)

18. Limber up

21. Avoid strip clubs

22. When in doubt, know your way out

29. The buddy system

31. Check the back seat

32. Enjoy the little things

33. Swiss army knife

34. Clean socks

48. Hygiene

49. Always have backup

Old concept wrapped in a new package. I prefer my 44 mag loaded with OO buckshot, 3 balls per round. Really wicked round. Also like the Remington Tactical 870 all dressed up. Kicks like a mule and hits like a ton of lead. PM.

Yeah...but when you have 700 zombies crawling all over your property about to eat your cat and your wife, don't you want to be able to accurately and repeatedly knock skulls.

I mean c'mon, haven't you seen the movies? They're everywhere and you cannot keep up...

Zombie killin' is often close in work due to the required head shots.

With that in mind - I like a .45 for a handgun, but just prefer it in a Glock 21.

Rifle? I agree that .22LR you can carry alot of ammo, but dunno that the balistics support reaching out with impact. At the very least - 5.56 Nato!

And who can argue with a pump 12 gauge shotgun? That works Gooooooood!!!

If you've been watching "The Walking Dead" on AMC - a good idea is by the black gal that had 2 zombies chained - cut off arms and jaw removed the "hunt" instinct. You could load them up with backpacks with ammo to overcome the weight issue.

OK, you'd have to overcome the no arms issue - but hey, they're zombies! You could nail the backpacks on!

Call me crazy but I'd stand in line to fire that thing. Wish they had shown the target.

Wonder what the spread is at say 20 feet.

like the built Ruger 22

But have went to the .17 HMR.( a little more velocity and accuracy) so I can train my girlfriend with some marksmanship skills without her shoulder coming out of socket with my 300 weatherby. Besides at $75 a box for 20 rounds of 300 ammo.. it can get expensive to squeeze the triger..
