Perfect riding weather in Sonora

I came into Jimtown this summer from Sonora Pass and the temp on my 2007A read 104!!

I never tire of riding Highway 49, thanks for sharing.

Great ride report through some of my favorite country. The Gold Country is one of the reasons California is tops for M.C. riding. You snapped a picture (above) of my favorite little valley. You come around a turn on Rattleshake Road, and there below you is this beautiful, picturesque valley that looks frozen in a time when life moved a little slower. For me, every time I ride through there it's like looking through the train window at Willoughby, and I wish I could pull over, step off the bike, and live there.
