So if it's the hardest ever, is it a 5.15? Couldn't hear the sound on my laptop, so I couldn't tell if that was discussed or not. I used to climb 2-3 times per week, but it is just too depressing living in IL.

Likewise, I'd climb 5.11's all day and climed a 5.13 for about 30' once...But that was when I lived in CA and Yosemite and Courtright Resevior were my back yard. Now living in Central PA...and it SUCKS for climbing.

Nevertheless, this guys got skill and strength!

I understand, people that don't live here just do not comprehend the difficulties involved in scaling horizonal rock faces. <_<

Say What??? If anything I would be the first to tell you that the ratings out west are harder than they are in the Midwest. A 5.10 here is more like a 5.9 or hard 5.8 out west.

Sport,

I believe it is rated at 5.15A, and to my knowledge there has never been a climb rated at this level, ever....

The reason it took so long and is so hard is by the time you reach the crux move, you are flat wiped out....

Did you hear Chris scream while he attempted to make those last few crux moves, past 90% vertical inclination by the way....

He makes it look all so easy, he has other video's out there, bouldering, etc... and is just awesome to watch.

Even a good climber wouldn't make it look so easy, and these are hard climbs. See if you agree.

Just a determined dreamer who loves what he does and does what he loves.
