Yeabut....it totally removes the advantages a motor officer has.
I mean, yea, get one for Zilla, but I'm not seeing the advantage it brings over a bike or a car to this line of work. You can't split, or get into an accident scene any faster than a bike, and you can't haul off bad guys or carry a bunch of stuff like a car can.

Har har...Kind of cool, but all the drawbacks of a bike without the benefits of a bike. I'd rather drive my Explorer.
I can see applications for it though. I'd bet beach cities may love it. Open design and easy on and off, and it won't fall over. I don't see it working here, but maybe it has a place.
Don, if you wanna write a petition, work on getting my unit those Husky 650s. Now, those would be bad ass, and super versitle.

AJ the Los Angeles Police Department got the Husqvarna Police Bikes, Albuquerque should get you one and New Mexico should get Patch308 one! JSNS!

The Los Angeles Police Department uses dirt bikes as part of their regular patrol fleet. Nobody likes to get a ticket on a nice weekend off road ride, but a police presence has its place and can be necessary now and then.
Any off-roaders up to no good are going to have a harder time outrunning the black-and-white. Previously the LA fuzz was riding a fleet of dated Kawasaki KLX400 dual sports, but they started taking delivery of new steeds. A pair of Husqvarna TE310 dual sport bikes were presented to the department prior to the LA Supercross race.
These pictures show stock bikes with nothing more than graphics, but the LAPD will likely add a few dirt bike accessories to customize the dual sports for its needs."

I've had the same thing happen where this software has dumped an entire post before I had a chance to post. I'm not very happy when it happens and usually try not to make a post too long without copying the text. I know people like Carver will write up their post using some text editor and then just copy it over but that means you have to know a little HTML coding to get the photos to work. Not a big deal but just a pain in the butt.

Jeeze...That pink trike would be less embarrassing to ride than Pamela Anderson. It also has less plastic, but a lower weight limit. Go figure!
