The wife and I just returned from 12 days in Italy. We went to Bologna, then venice, then Siena, then Rome. The first set of pictures is of my wife's neice's wedding in Bologna that includes the Ducati Museum, the earthquake damage in Bologna, and parts of Venice.
The second set of photos includes Siena and Rome (where we rented bicycles one day and did 40 kilometers on a tour around Rome), and we rented scooters for 24 hours to ride around Rome. Riding scooters around Rome is a trip, as everybody splits lanes at all times and park anywhere. The cars in Italy are really small, and the most prevalent car was the SMART car. They actually park those cars perpendicular to the curb!
Lots of pictures, so browse at your leisure, and no, I haven't labeled them yet, but hope to soon.
