Many times, you, as people interested in photography, need inspiration, thought provoking and interesting ideas towards your next photo opportunities.

I wanted to link you folks to a Reuters.com Photo Gallery of what their editors have deemed as their best (so far) of the Olympics Photos coming through their desk.

There are some standard, safe shots, but look for the images that are definitely outside the box and not ordinary and certainly tell a story about where they are.

Many of the compositions of these images can be used on your next trip; whether vacation or day trip - in country or out of country.

Enjoy

You're welcome.

(From a guy who works for the firm. {Who doesn't have anything at all to do with news photography, but who takes great pride in the firm's output nevertheless.}) ;)

The Olympics have been incredible this time around and those pics are astonishing. Thanks for the share.

FatNakedGuy....Thank you for sharing this link. The pictures are amazing. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to get these shots with the large amount of press competing for shots and the (I am assuming) strict Chinese government. There are some incredibly talented photographers there. Bravo!

Unreal shots...

For being artistic, this one was cool.

I liked this one as a good sports/in-the-moment shot.
