It`s the issue with the FJR & BMW GT on the cover. My question is the 03 FJR (on pg 19) is it anyone`s from this forum ?? (closest to bottom of page) I`d like to know about the windshild wings (who`s are they ? custom ?) Also what is that box on the left lower fairing (kind of looks like cig lighter & 2 power plugs ??) Also i noticed the hywy pegs on the end of the sliders (how`ed you mount them).

Yea i`m done :p

I just go my issue today (along with my certs etc) and I don`t know whose it is but I did a bike count in the magazine.

Gold Wings 14 times

BMW (all models) 16 times

Other 8 times

FJR 21 times including 6 in one picture

I guess most LD riders know what is best.

Edit: Seems what I got is the premier issue but it still confirms my theory

Not my bike, but I can tell you something about the slider mounted pegs. A FJR rider named Leo machined some mounts that insert into sliders and allow you to mount pegs. He made a set for me a couple years ago, but he's no longer in that business. I had a link, but it doesn't appear to work anymore with the forum software upgrade. :(

Never mind, the link is working:

Leo's slider inserts

although I can't see if the pics still are there because the 'net nazis here at work have blocked photobucket. :angry2:

Sorry for the delay. I'm thinking that may be Tom Melchild's first FJR. I'm sure someone will chime in and correct if I'm wrong.

Canadian FJR
Thanks!

Sorry for upper post , as one should not post (me) before morning coffee  & agitated by wifey. :)
