e^(i pi) + 1 = 0 was voted the most beautiful equation of all time, everybody knows that.

In fact, Euler was rumored to have said that e^(i Pi) = -1 is "proof that God exists".

Can I get a Wiki-check on that?

Couldn't find a reference immediately, but likely true, he was deeply religious. Silent's proof is pretty famous, as far as mathematics is famous; that argument was to end Euler's battle with an atheistic philosopher Diderot. Diderot didn't know mathematics, and was talking smack to Euler in the Russian court, so Euler made this statement to embarass him.
