I will be riding in the Linville ,NC area staying on Grandfather Mnt. from Sept 4-14 and would like recommendations on places to eat. Do not need anything fancy, We perfer local's type hangouts with good food and cold beer, microbrew's, Barbecue's etc. There will be 4 couples up for a week of riding. Thanks in advance.

Well I believe you will be close to the Little Switzerland inn right off the BRP. On friday nights they have an awesome prime rib and seafood buffet. It's $30.00 each but it's the best buffet I've ever had. I didn't like the Alpine room we stayed in but they have others and a nice lodge. Also there are all kinds of places around the Asheville area.
