What is the road/ride like on rt 2?
I loved US2 from Idaho east going on the south side of Glacier coming back from CFR in June of '09. The roads were nice and curvy going along the south side of the National Park with some great sweepers. :clapping: Some of the cars were being pokey, so I was kinda frustrated knowing that these were the last few miles of good roads on the trip before getting home to Wheaton a 1000 miles away. So I fixed that problem at an opportune time through imaginitive personal interpretations of the traffic code.

East of the Rockies, all roads are going to be straight, but I actually didn't mind US2. I'm sure there are some lonely state roads in Montana you could pick, but US2 was actually okay...considering.

First, I just can't believe TominCA has the audacity and chutzpah to claim that he took the photo below, when all of us in the West know that Old Michael snapped this pic from the cockpit of his FJR; with a yellow helmet and all!!!

Secondly, when you get near AZ cota95: Give your Papa Chuy Viejo a shout! Since I'm retired and worthless, I may just fire up Miss Lucy Liu (my 2003 FJR) and ride up to see you! Contacts: Cell (480) 440-4666 or [email protected]

Watch out for beemerdons, he's not bluffing. He may truly try to meet up with you and ruin your trip.

Know when to say no. That's all I'm sayin' :D
