LD Players.

I need your help.

There is a very special someone in the FJR/LD community that deserves a decent gift from us. They rarely post on this forum, and they are new to the platform, but this person has been to hell and back in the last year and I'd like us all to buy this rider a nice farkle or two for their 2006 AE.

I'm thinking risers, and whatever else you Gen II types seem to find essential. Farkle recommendations welcome. Warchild has already agreed to install whatever farkles for this person even though they live quite distant from each other.

I'd like to cap the gift at $300-400. If just 60-80 of us chip in $5 each, we're there. Feel free to send less if you like. When using Paypal, BE SURE to include your full name ( not Forum handle ) in the "notes" section. I'll make a nice card and send that along with all our names.

Spread the word among FJR Owners, and please chip in. I'm sorry to be so vague but this will ensure a nice surprise for this person. By the way, this is someone most of you know from the IBA world, and this person has ZERO enemies. Even though you're going in blind to this, you will certainly be glad to know who this is for.

Send Paypal to george at georgezelenz dot com

I'll report in this message ( as an edit ) the daily totals.

Thank you for your consideration,

GZ

+1,000,000

The individual beeroux refers to indeed has zero enemies and is among the nicest individual you would ever meet.

If your Karma Quotient could use a little refurbishing, THIS is the ideal opportunity to do it! Drop a couple bucks into the PayPal account George has set up, and watch your Chi fall into balance! B)

I might not be the first (but if I am) I will kick off the $5 donations from just plain old FJR riders/owners.

Not a member of the Iron Butt (yet) maybe when I retire from the Navy next year??

Call it Karma or whatever, sounds like a worthy cause to me :clapping:

I don't offer risers yet, ;) but if you think this person can use something that I already have on offer, let me know.

$5 worth of electrons sent.

For LD, I think the Wild Bill foot peg brackets and rubberized Kuryakyn pegs are a must. Audiovox cruise is great, too.

And there you go. Nice big farkle package.

+1, these seem like rider independent farkles to me. Throw in a Skyway mount and your good to go.

COUP!

Pawtracks is indeed the first donation, many thanks. You needn't be an IBA member to help, this is a fellow pilot and once you meet this person you'll know you did the right thing. Somebody write the Candy Butt's and tell them its OK to send donations.<G>

FJRocket is donating a brand new Blue Sea 6-fuse panel job, and he might be getting a few relays from Smitty.

Regarding Skyways generous offer: What would you Gen II folks say was the most universal and essential Skyway farkle?

I'm also thinking we can just cut this rider a check and let them get whatever they want. Warchild's offer to assist is still good, since he can install anything.

Rock on folks, make'n me proud!

Hey GZ, so much for obscuring your email addy, huh?

Let the spamming begin!!

EDIT: Changed GZ's actual email address to hide it from the evil spammers in my quote of Radman's post.... (Yes, it was actually written out in proper email format originally.)

Since I have a spotted past, I will avail myself of WC's most generous offer to clear my record. If $5 is standard, put me down for 2 indulgences at $5 each. This could be an opportunity to clean up my permenant record regarding both the political (warranted) and religious crap convictions.

Quid Pro Quo?
