I'll be late for Pizza (should be there by 4:00), but willing to pitch in on whatever I eat or drink. :)

Here are my planned jobs...

1. Install fuzeblock

2. Connect Escort, Garmin, PIAA's, Powerlets to fuzeblock

3. Install Volt reader

4. Install Avon front tire

5. Install switch for Aux lights

Brian (Wingshot) and I will be bringing 12ga. wire. If we don't have enough wire or connectors I'm more then willing to pitch in for what I use and then some.

Dave

What kind of crowd are we working up to? Looks like a big turn out in the works.

Current list is updated on post number 1. Right now it stands at 17 and a few maybes and a few wives/kids.

Should be a very good turn out.
You can cross my name off the list. I will be out of town all weekend as of thursday night. Even though I don't have any work to accomplish on my FJR, I'm disappointed I won't be there to hang out and help. There's always next time.....

No, Bryan has been nice to want to work Sunday morning (and I have a nice Bottle to thank him with) :) Perhaps we'll break it open on Saturday night. Might, cause for a slow Sunday morning though :)

Hawiian for me please.

Sent in my request for clear weather and still awaiting Mother Nature's response.

Man, I'm a wuss. And I have electirc gear.

If there's precip on saturday I'm probably stayin home, this cold **** sucks ***.

Feel fee to mock, I deserve it.

Anybody want to buy some Galfer wave rotors? I'd have more incentive to go somewhere. :)

I like Hawiian or the meat pizza, looking forward to meeting folks and watching bikes come apart!

Mine is staying together this time but will be asking questions about suspension adjustment and learning about this fuse block stuff and more.

So far all I have added to the bike is sliders and a taller windshield. Worried that by attending I might get farkle-itis, I heard it can be quite contagious!

See you there, Jed

If its bad enough I won't ride in; but I still plan to attend. I am going to get a few pointers when its my time to cave in to farkleitus and install some electronics.

Don't mock me because I drive in on four wheels

I ended up going into GP Suspension and having my forks tuned up yesterday. I called and they said "come on over" so I did. I took pictures and stuff and am very glad I didn't try to do this in front of you guys. It took 3 1/2 hours by the experts and they replaced one bushing, two seals and dust caps. They also installed a new valve that they have redesigned since they did my forks a year ago. Price? Same as in the group buy or at least they have a FJR discount because we do so much business there. Here is how it works: you send them the forks, they take them apart and put them back together, only with their valving and emulators and parts. You are then changed for parts and labor. For a full service like this, it is the same only you already own some the parts so it is basically expert labor that you pay for, around $160 plus parts and oil. Fork work PICs

Once you get into a leaky seal, you have to pull the tubes. Once you pull the tubes, you might as well clean everything. At the bottom of the chambers, there is a lot of crud and it is hard to get out without the proper equipment. Oil changes do not address the crud.

I'm looking at the No Mar tire changer now. I have a tire waiting to be installed and my existing rear tire has been plugged twice, still has two holes (slow leaks) in it, and is still on the bike. :download:  This winter has been brutal on the rubber, I had these PR2s installed just after our Fall get together at Maupin, where I put on the Stringy Plug Flat Tire Repair Clinic. The SPFTRC.

Looking forward to seeing you guys,

Good to see you get teh forks done at GP. They definiitely know what they are doing.

That radiator sure looks like it need some debris cleaned out of it.

After doing the slideshow and making notes on the pictures, I was amazed at how much I remembered. I almost felt I could do the job along with the Service manual and the right tools.

The bugs I hit are big and do damage to the fins, or there are 87,000 miles of bugs stuck in those fins. I still don't have a heat problem or I am in denial. Anyway, why clean it if there isn't a heat problem or why mess with it if it works???? ;)
