Nice to see you all. I didn't get a chance to say 'hello' to most of you... I don't like to interrupt 'men at work'. Lots of serious work going on today.

I hope everyone got home safe & sound.

Bryan, you have some very nice knee draggin' twisties in your neighborhood. Yeee hawww!

Hey, hey guys, we better cool it talking about how great this get together was. I mean if the peeps from around the country start to understand how great this group is, then they will all want to move here.

I mean, could you imagine some of the, ummm, people on this board, coming up to gods back yard. It's getting too crowded already.

Oh, thanks Bryan and Marissa. Also Marcus, you are the "Pit Master

I can't say it enough, but THANKS to Bryan and Marissa for opening their home to the PNW crew. Accomplished a lot of good things today and shared some more tech knowledge.

Haven't done a Barbarian Mod in years...how many did we do today? ;)

Great food, BBQ and oh, the deserts! And pictures don't do it justice, that red FJR looks terrific! :clapping:

Another thanks to Bryan and Marissa for hosting us again.

Big thanks to everyone who helped me out today, too. With Bryan troubleshooting, we managed to sort my fuse block issues. After 1 year, my aux light snow work thanks to Bryan... :)

Excellent to see new faces and familiar faces again. Marcus... the pork was perfect - many thanks. :)

Hudson - no kidding - this morning's ride was the most fun I've had riding since I bought the FJR - thanks for the excellent route!

George... ah...well...thanks. For...ummm,... heckling... ;)

Such a great time these events are. :)

Nice job all and what a nice turn out. Bryan, Marissa, and Rayissa - as always, you make wonderful hosts. Marcus - the pulled pork was incredible.

Harald - loved the deer and the nice thought. Jim, nice to chat again. Duane - I will be calling. George, you skinned me on that deal. Dave, you need a "sense of humor" therapist. Other Dave, get your check book out. Kevin, lighten up on that bear hug. Barb - enjoy Calgary. Tom E - we need to continue our Alaska chat.

Bryan and Marissa - working on option 2 of our Great White North trip. What is it 26 days and counting? I am working on a special shield for my helmet to counteract all that red.

Car tires on an FJR...weird.

Ducati Red...nice.

Bikes without clutch handles...awesome

Blue bikes...lame

A tremendous thanks to Bryan, Marissa, and Rayissa for opening their home and doing so much for the PNW crew. Great time once again.

Nice to see everyone hope to get together for a few rides this year.

Looks like a great time was had by all at the PNW Spring Tech Meet!

Thanks for sharing the photos, could see everybody was having fun!

Why is that roof so steep and made of tin?

The house is a timber frame. The lower section is 6/12 pitch and the uper is 8/12 pitch. The roof is a 50 year metal roof, because I have no intention of ever having to visit again. Too steep to walk up.

Here is a few pictures of the frame before it was covered. It is just like an old barn. From the floor to the peak is 25 feet. Took us two days to stand the frame.

From the road above the house

Here is looking at the frame from below at about 10 PM on a full moon night.

Thanks to all that came.

Not everybody signed in, I would estimate there were 40 who attended and about 35 bikes. A few new faces and bikes. Other than a little rain shower early it was a very good day.

Thanks to Marcus for some very good pulled pork! :clapping: My wife wants the recipe for the sauce. :)

A lot got done, we figured out Sprotsguy's electrical gremlins that have been plaguing his farkles for a year now. Turns out his Eastern Beaver prewired relay kit was wired wrong from them. It was prewired to have a direct short everytime the relay module was installed. All is well now, and we have to give him a pass, but it was sure fun for everyone to give him sh*t. (and Duhwayne was a good sport!)

Stephen made an appearance with his pimped out ZX14. Too much chrome for my taste. But it was one clean bike.

JayH had his new beemer. Nice bike! BluFJR made it up from Portland.

The folks from Eastern Washington braved the snow and freezing temps and were able to ride over the pass. Good to see you all agian!

El Cajone made it down from Vancouver BC Friday night. We got started early Saturday on his and got the PAIR block offs installed and TBS done. Sent him on his way home shortly after lunch. Thanks for the Tequilla!

Barb came down Saturday with Panman. We got here Christa LED lights installed. She spent the night at our house. WE sent her on her way this morning. SHe will have really good weather going home, 65 and sunny most of the way this afternoon.

Charlie was very happy, he had more buts to sniff then he could handle. He was looking for a nap spot by 3 o'clock.

How about the prize for most parts FINALLY working......

Ain't that right, Duhwayne?

Maybe for the most parts FINALLY working... ;) I literally went into my garage at 10:30 last night to see how much light my Hellas pumped out - verdit: sh1tloads!

Not sure what I'll buy from Bryan at the spring Tech Day next year. Last ear was these Hellas. This year was Bryan's "lunar lander" HID spots. Next year? Maybe his gargantuan gas tank...? ;)

Hope the trip home was fun and uneventful Barb. :)

Too bad, we managed to get my **** sorted. I could see George winding up to give me hell until Bryan found the problem and threw a bucket of water on George's hellfire... :D

Caught LowandSilent near the back of the shop stroking a shaft a couple times, but otherwise, everyone seemed to behave themselves.

George saw this and thought he was having too much fun so he joined him..

After LowandSlient was done doing whatever he was doing to the forks, he was bored and went for the power tools.

Many thanks to Bryan and Marissa for such a great day! All your time and hard work is very much appreciated.

You have a lovely home, in a lovely spot, two lovely daughters, and one kewl hound. Thank you for sharing, and taking such good care of me.

Kevin, my host for Friday night. Also many thanks; for the lodging, good company and the fun ride down. You didn't have to mention the part about getting lost, cuz I'd have never noticed. I was too busy looking at old farmhouses, barnsNsuch.

Uber huge thanks to Kevin and Bryan who installed my Clearwaters. It pains me to admit I am going to be just like Duhwayne and go out in the garage tonight and see how bright them puppies are in the pitch black.

Thanks also to James W and Allrider for the goodies.

Marcus? Awesome smoked goods! Wow!

George? Thanks for the fork oil handshake on the way in........................................................I'll remember that, *smile*

Actually, you are the only living person who I allow to get away with calling me "blondie". (Thought you should know that)

Gosh, I could go on forever, but, I'll stfu now.

I just want to say this....

You PNW guys are the nicest and friendliest group of riding folk I have ever had the amazing good fortune to get to know. Lots of fun, lots of good stories, lots of evidence of the genuine care and concern you have for one another. As an outside observer, I hope y'all know how lucky you are to have such a great group.

If I ever find myself in need of a good genuine hug or 40, I know exactly where to go. You folks rawk!

barb

Dave.........You were already gone when I turned around and saw what you snuck onto my bike. You sneaky lil...........

Kudos and many thanks again to Bryan and Marissa, in all my years of motoring these are truly unique experiences, company is extremely enjoyable, lots of unique individuals and even some other older folks to chin with.

George... ah...well...thanks. For...ummm,... heckling... ;)
...all in good fun, glad you were finally able to figure out the mystery.

...George, you skinned me on that deal.
Thanks again BReamer. I guess they'll be a few (dozen) tire changes in order!

...it was just the tip of one finger, dunked it at the wrong time! ;)
