Apparently the trailing bike was unmarked, just recording evidence.

I was in the UK last spring and was suprised to see that they use a lot of US type measurments. MPH, yards, miles, etc. I was under the impression that they would all be in metric.

I wonder what kind of unmarked bike the cop following him was on. He hit 140 as well. And it probably would be a bike with some sort of storage and an upright seating position. Could it be a police Feej? :huh:

I've personally seen a couple of unmarked Honda Fireblades over there being used by the police. Story I got was that they were siezed from convicted drug dealers, had video and radio equipment added, and were then put to police use. I've also seen some cars and SUV's that had apparently been acquired in a similar fashion.

There oughta be a law against that...

I need to watch the video again, but IIRC, there was scene where the chaser was blocked by a car and you could clearly see the flashing lights reflecting on the tailgate.

..and whatever audio system they used... it sure sounds better than my StarCom.

I think he was manually activating his his hi beams trying to get the car to move over.

I was shocked at how calm the officer was during the chase as he was citing off the infractions. It was obvious to me the guy didn't know he had a leo chasing him, he was just out for a rip and thought he had a riding buddy!

Well, he did report in the beginning that the guy was not as good as he thought he was, not exactly those words, but that was the jist of it. Obviously that would not be Fairlaner's situation. . . .
