When the camera is behind the trunk of the car at the 10 minute mark there looks to be some pulsing light as he gets close and just before he flips his high-beams. I'm going to guess he's on a marked police bike.

I am pretty sure it's the Busa that is in the link I put up in post #7. There is a good video in that link of the LEO pulling a car over. The bike does has "POLICE" written on it and I think it has lights.

If he has lights, they are pretty weak, cuz you can usually see them reflecting off the vehicle being chased or the other cars that get approached. The cop at some point says, "He's looking in his mirror, but its not slowing him down." I donno if that means the guy in front knew there was a cop behind him or what. Like others, I wanna know WTF happened. I also can't believe he chased him for that long and no on ever showed up to back him up.

Post #3 by wfooshee explains it all.

The chase bike was unmarked and was merely "collecting evidence" of the various violations.

The squid was later arrested, tried and found guilty. He had to eat his driving license and do fifty pushups for the Queen.

Looked like a typical jdog and Fairlaner vid.
Did they get him??? That's it??? AHHHH!

UK. Why is it in MPH vs KPH?

I was in the UK last spring and was suprised to see that they use a lot of US type measurments. MPH, yards, miles, etc. I was under the impression that they would all be in metric.
Yep we still use MPH, yards, miles and even feet and inches, some of my older engineers still use chains, furlongs and rods LOL! but for even more confusion we also buy things sold in KGs, metres, centimeters etc. My kids have been taught to use the 'metric system' but still have 'imperial' measurments to contend with as well? As for the unmarked bikes, I know of at least two operating in my local area (k1200s BMW & VRF 800 Honda) but I am sure there is a couple of others. None of the bikes have Police markings or 'lights' but do carry a small video setup and radio. I actually only realised the BMW was a police bike when I filled up with fuel at a local filling station and the cop produced a police ID card for payment after filling with fuel.

Some 'Northern' Police forces are now using the FJR........
