Just saw our very own Ponyfool on the 5pm news on the tube. Seems the crooks have finally figured out that stealing GPS units out of cars can be profitable. I guess cage-drivers haven't figured out that leaving a suction-cup mount on your windshield is a good as telling the crooks "go ahead and break into my car and steal my GPS that I've hidden under the seat!". Let's hope the bad-guys don't learn to look for them on bikes.

Today was my first day back and I was slammed! Not only did I not get caught up, I had to do the TV thing as well as go to two meetings. Tomorrow won't be much better!

I'm on limited duty for the next few months, but will be back in full swing by July. Will be back on the motorcycle in about 6 weeks per the doc.

I can't find the link for the story and I didn't get a chance to see it. Oh well. How did I do? Come across like the dork I really am???

6 weeks will go by pretty fast with all the rain we've had. Bet you're glad you don't have to wait until July to ride.

You looked fine on the tube. I was pretty surprised I recognized you as fast as I did, then did a double-take when I remembered you were just under the knife. But the story was pretty lame. It was on again at 6:30pm so maybe you can catch it at 11:00 if you're still up. I'll bet they'll post it online later.

Do all the Oregon Departments out there allow Goatees?

Yes, Radman. I didn't see anything about it around here neither..

But I suspect its too much work for the crooks in these parts

to scrape the snow and ice off the cars to check for valuables.

One thing is for sure. Old Man Winter seems to slowdown everything

around here. Even the thieves. Guess that is a positive to all of the

negative temps.

This is logging country boy! Of course they do! Well, I don't know actually. Most of the municipals in the area do, not sure about state police. We were allowed full beards until about 4 years ago when we had to start having gas masks issued to us due to the number of protests we get. The goatees are allowed as long as the gas mask can get a good seal.

Around here they consider that too much individuality.. Pretty much all major cities(around here) stand firm on the Military standard of mustaches only to the edges of the mouth. What year did you all have the RNC in your town? It is coming to us this Summer.
