Bustanut, thanks for the great information but I was looking for a little more detail.

I am thinking about Rt. 7 through Perth over to Oshawa and then to Baden. Any comments?

Okay guys and gals, Canadian FJR is travelling all the way from Nova Scotia to be part of the "Pirate Parade" in Port Dover on Friday May 13. It would be fun to have a bunch of FJR's show up for this.

I would like to get there in the morning before it gets too crazy, so I was thinking of leaving Baden at 7am and getting there around 8 or 8:30.

Anyone is welcome to come stay at our place Thurday night and Friday night. Not alot of beds, but I can offer couches, floor space, backyard tenting, whatever. Scott already put dibs on a bed and I doubt he will want to share. I will supply beers and BBQ Friday night.

For those wanting to just meet up with us for Dover, we can meet at the church parking lot in Boston(Ontario) at 8:00am on the corner of Cr44(Cockshut Rd.) and RR19.

If the times are too early or the meeting place sucks, let me know and we can change it.

That departure time works for me. Thanks for opening up the Mabee B&B. I promise to be well behaved. I was planning to head accross the border after leaving Port Dover but I think I would rather ride some of the roads that you mentioned near your place. Put me down for two nights in Baden.

I am an admirer of old farm equipment, and for you young guys here is your history lesson of the day. The Cockshutt Plow Company had a big factory in Brantford (originally the Brantford Plow Company in the late 1800's). I am not quite sure, but I think there is a museum or something related on the southeast side of town (it's been a while since I've been there, so I'll have to look that up). I think I just meet you all in Boston in the morning if it's not snowing :angry: .

Judging from the photos of the 'hotties' I think I'll bring the wide angle lens for the Nikon. On the other hand I could use my 300mm telephoto and photograph this while never leaving my house from the other side of Toronto.
