I am using an older Heat-troller similar to this bought from Gerbling.

But mine has SAE connectors instead of the Coax and the box is closer to being a square. My location choice is limited by the length of the cord running to my jacket liner. Mounting on top of the Clutch Reservoir or the bottom of the switch housing might be a problem because the cord to the jacket liner might limit movement of the handle bars for some manuvers. It appears that I can't simply buy an extension cord with SAE connectors. But I sent an inquiry to "Warm & Safe" in case I'm wrong.

I have the Gerbing dual controller in the case with the clip on it. I just clip it on the side of my jacket waistband that is adjustable. It is easy to see and adjust and stays with me and the jacket if I unplug from the bike.

I have the Tourmaster dual controller, and had it attached to my riding pants when I did my Iron Butt ride, but it was always in the way and dangling from the pants when I was off the bike. I've since put 4 super magnets on the back of it and just stick it to the left side of the gas tank. I also put a length of split flex tubing on the two leads that go to the jacket, along with another magnet at the connector end. This way, the ends of the cables are stuck to the tank so I don't have to take the controller off the bike if I'm not using the heat.

I just bought new Powerlet jacket and glove liners with a wireles remote. Velcro holds the transmitter to the side of the brake master cylinder.
