Anybody have a few blue PosiTaps they can pop in an envelope to me?

I'll order online if I have to but I'm a cheap ******* and hate paying large $ to ship 1$ parts!

I'll buy ya a beer if you can help me out!

Jeff; Jump on that thing and ride up to Ponoka, I'll solder your connections properly, don't use those positap things...... :nono:

My Napa store wanted something like 8 bucks *per* tap and WallWorld had none. Guess it helps to live in the big city. Like Reno.

I might take you up on that for several taps (taillight, brake, etc...,) but I'd rather not mess too much with the coil signal wire from the ECM.

I have seen some auto parts stores that have a small selection of positaps. Try your local NAPA store.
Yes, but you don't live in Canada now, do you? :p

Jeff, I used the Posi-lock products that are sold at Eastern Beaver. IIRC the shipping was only 5 or 6 bucks.

We've got NAPA's in Ontario. Hrmph. Go figger.

I've been hunting high and low for them as well. I *KNOW* I saw them somewhere last summer locally, but do you think I could find them again! I had ordered some from webbikeworld (he's got assorted kits) but the editor emailed me back that shipping to Canuckistan would be a few more bucks. Normally, not a problem, but my paypal (originally paid by CC) is fubared. He refunded my money instantly.

LOL, Don,

I'll tell you what, I'll stop by my big city WallyWorld today and we'll validate your point. Or, not.
Wally World in the biggest little city doesn't have PosiTaps.

But, I did get to witness three very obese women attempting to get their new treadmill in the trunk of their circa 1988 Ford Taurus.

Really, no need for the county fair with WallyWorld 24/7

I have to go to NAPA tomorrow, I'll try to remember to see if they got 'em.

I got mine from NAPA in Calgary... but they had to get them from the depot/warehouse, and I bought everything they had (which was only about a dozen IIRC). Incredible that these things seem to be rare as hen's teeth in Canuckistan, and ungodly ($3-$4 EACH!!) for something so simple. I'm headed to the States next week, and will look to see if I can find some, and haul back a bunch for us Canuckistanis.

Well that explains why I couldn't find any in Calgary!

Bring back some red ones from Vegas for me will ya? :D

Edit: Unless you find them for less than $1 each, looks like Eastern Beaver is the way to go!

I'm gonna order up a handful to hopefully have on hand on time for our 'Tech-Day'. :D
