Possible FJR Sighting on TV

Just sitting here watching the opening segment to tonights CSI:NY and they had 3 sportbikes doing some very cliche'd reckless driving before an (unrelated) body goes through the windshield of a car.

With all the fast camera cuts and dark lighting it was hard to tell. But I could've sworn one of the bikes was an FJR. :thumbup: :clap: Maybe even an '03 judging by the way the front turn signals seemed to stand out from the fairing.

Anybody else catch this. I didn't have a tape in the VCR so I was unable to go back and take a look. Anybody on the left-coast who's reading this soon enough might be able to get their VCR's ready to take a look.

Saw that.

Leader was a GSXR. (2004?)

Follower was a CBR.

Your right about the similarity. I had to give it a double take.

My wife said the same thing.

But, it was just like the center picture of this web page:

I would love to have it on tape to walk through it frame by frame. I am not convinced from what I remember that it would be a honda. The profile of the headlights on the honda is shorter than what I remeber on the TV. (Thats part of what caught my attention). I also coulda sworn I saw a brief flash of the tailights on a bike that looked a heckuva lot like the FJR's tailight cluster.

Guess I'll have to wait for reruns....

The headlight shape wasn't that angular. It really had the rounder look of the FJR. I'm not an afficianado of sportbikes, but it seems to me that the R-1 has similar headlamps, co, could it have been a 1 or 2 year old R-1?

I thought about it more today...didn't the Bandit have "cats-eye" headlamps?
