2007 Black-cherry with Holeshot system (headers & cans)....PAIR shut-off.....PC III but custom mapped by local m/c dyno whiz....equals new bike :yahoo:

The dyne-guy started out to just tweak the map built by Holeshot but ultimately scrapped it and re-built from the beginning. The bike is a frickin' thrill....the $185 for the custom map build was worth a lot more than that! Peformance up.....AND mileage up!!!

BUt does anyone know if the PC V offers any upgraded performance parameters from the III?

Hi

My first reply so be nice please ;)

I recently bought my 2006 fjr and i got tiny surgin at low rpm. say 1100-4000.And the throttle can be abit hard to manage for a smooth acceleration.

So i mailed fuelmoto some weeks ago. They suggested i should buy PCV not PCIII.

But thing is, i think the bike goes better then it's cold then after the engine gets to right working temp. Perhaps it's then the

PCV comes in handy? Valv adjustment has been made recently, so that should not be the problem.

The bike got a pair of Leovince slip ons, but air filter is the oem version. You think a more open filter like for example KN should do any use?

I'm not intereasted in gaining extra horses on top, it's the smooth ride i'm after.

Can someone explaine the use of buying auto tune at the same time please. I like to ride not experimenting with differnt fuelmaps and so on.

Perhaps that's what auto tune do, do all the job for me? :)

Thankful for some feedback

Just call FuelMoto and tell them whats been done to your bike and order a PC V. They will map it for your bike and its mods and you will be good to go. Mine is wonderfully smoothe and surge free since installation. Honestly it is like a whole different motorcycle.
