A preacher said, "Anyone with 'special needs' who wants to be prayed over, please come forward to the front by the altar."

With that, a man got in line, and when it was his turn, the Preacher asked :

"What do you want me to pray about for you?"

The guy replied, "Preacher, I need you to pray for help with my hearing."

The preacher put one finger of one hand in the guys ear, placed his other hand on top of his head, and then prayed and prayed and prayed.

He prayed to the 'Almighty' for the guy, and the whole congregation joined in with great enthusiasm.

After a few minutes, the preacher removed his hands, stood back and asked, "How is your hearing now?"

He answered, "I don't know. It ain't 'til next week!"

That was a goodun! My buddy could have used that kinda help several years ago..

He'd earned hisself an OUI award and had paid his fines did his probation, but neglected his court ordered AA classes.

Judge asked "Mr. B why have you not completed your AA classes?"

His response? "Well yer Honor, I went to one, but nobody would go drinking with me after, So I quit"

He got 90 days.
