I'm still riding my GS for the IBR this year. But soon, I'd like to start working on the FJR to get her ready for rallies. I have a wonderful mechanic (thanks honey!) and he is quite capable of doing 'stuff' but it would be great to have someone relatively nearby if we have any questions or run into stuff we can't figure out. Anyone around here intimately familiar with a Gen 2 (2008)?

Hope you'll still cheer for me even though I'm on a GS! :clapping:

That changes everything. I'll still cheer you on, but I have to immediately go change the morning line on you now for the sports book. I think you went from a 20-1 to 30-1 for the platform change. ;)

Good Luck Nancy.

Nearby is relative :) Missed you at the MD2020, see you at the Void?

All these dudes here are just kissing up to you. I say eat shit and die! This is the FJR forum, dude! No fricking GS riders are welcome. So um, yeah, I hope you finish the IBR.

Love,

Jerry

I am, and you can even check my bike out up in Seattle once I get there on Saturday. All I ask of you is to take a quick airplane trip with me, sit beside me, and fall asleep. After you wake up we can talk about anything you want, right after we have a cigarette and cuddle. :air_kiss:

Thanks to the NICE people.

Jerry, I'll deal with you in person. Be afraid. Very afraid.

LDRydr - I'm not sure who you are, but that is one of the funniest things I have seen in a while! MF'er may have done me a favor by getting my ire up good. Unfortunately, I usually calm down pretty quickly....

Matt- yes, I'll be doing The Void. Perhaps on the FJR.

The other Matt - you're just jealous.

I'm south of Annapolis with an '06. Have a garage and decent set of tools, and a cycle hill tire changer. Just had to pull the rear tire last night for the second puncture on this Angel ST.

Cool, I'll be incognito for a while! But you do know me (this song is playing in my head as I type this).

See ya tomorrow!

Sounds good, except the Commando part.... That's scary to me in my post-assault days  Seriously, thanks for the offer. We'll keep you in mind if we run into stuff where we'd like a second set of eyeballs :)

Oh yes, I do. Didn't even think to click your user name... See ya soon!

Just saw this and am in Damascus, a bit less than an hour to your west. Other than the carb stix for TBS having moved to Washington State with the kid brother unit, we can do what we need.

Good luck with your IBR

Bob

I hope you feel real nice now that my Atomic Crotchroach has taken her final dirt nap. too bad it was on pavement...

You're lucky you're cute, White.

"Jerry" and "cute" in the same sentence? :nono:

This is reason #324 why I love you Miss Kitty.

Speaking of cute, look how cute you look in this photo. I'm in love. And now that I've met Walt, I think I can take him. ;)

Guess I should include this photo of the poor little GS on its last legs. Not even the rock was happy to see this in the parking lot.

Awww, thanks Jerry! I am so proud that my bike had her photo taken with the rock! Yeah, poor old girl....

Doug, you might have a new CBA member!

Oh and thanks checkswrecks! I'm laying low for a little bit... But when I'm ready, I will look you up!
