Prepping FJR for endurance riding

I'm still riding my GS for the IBR this year. But soon, I'd like to start working on the FJR to get her ready for rallies. I have a wonderful mechanic (thanks honey!) and he is quite capable of doing 'stuff' but it would be great to have someone relatively nearby if we have any questions or run into stuff we can't figure out. Anyone around here intimately familiar with a Gen 2 (2008)?

That changes everything. I'll still cheer you on, but I have to immediately go change the morning line on you now for the sports book. I think you went from a 20-1 to 30-1 for the platform change.
