Looks like a good route to me. Gramps, you should have plenty o' time to get down there, and sweep the roads up for us, right?!?!? :p

We'll make stops but prolly not frequent...meet for breakfast...make a stop before lunch somewhere...fuel stop...photo stop...then home.
Just so you know, I am hustling to get the tanker ready for this ride!

... and Gramps, your Pair covers are done; just waiting to get them back from anodize

Cool!! Will they be done b4 this Saturday? If they are I'll prolly stop by & pick them up on my way up to Webby's.

What is a pair? If I have a full house can I get that anodized?

Also, thanks for thinking of me when planning the route. But no one is coming to my house after. I live in a trailer down by the 3M plant and the water makes me a little silly areound new people.

I'm hoping Tuesday.

Give me a call.

Will do. Thanks!!

Thanks for doing the pre-ride work guys. The video looked good. Hopefully will get a few downpours before the ride.

On my lastest PCA order I had them throw in a two-radio cable for my Starcom. Anyone else going to be FRS/GMRS capable suring the ride?

If so I'll experiment with it before the ride, otherwise it goes into the toy chest for some other day/ride.

Ok I'm having fun reading between the lines on this pace question. Let me see if I have it straight...
Pace is relative... (to skill?)

The group onced dumped a gentleman from Prescott... For riding a too leisurely pace?

One of our party may have warrants in 'sconnie... Geez, I wonder how that happened?

...and our personal police escort will be WAAAY out in front hanging us slow geezers out to dry with the local constabulary.

That's REALLY confidence inspiring to someone who wants to ride a leisurely pace.

Don't worry about pace FJJs'R, there ain't no one in this group slower than me, and I'll let you ride sweep with me.

Hahahahahha!!!

Just picked up on this one!!!!

Just didn't want to scare off EVERYONE who rides my pace!

I say we have the cops lead and sweep-we'll have enough, they can just do that badge on a chain thing and we can have all the fun . :p I have a feeling that may the natural order anyway, at least till Bettsy git's his Feejer game on, and Webby, well........ We should take advantage of it while we can.

I'm thinkin' we should stick to where the best riding is out our back door & that's "Sconnie". Erik posted up some great roads & a destination for lunch, anyone else is welcome to do the same or pm me. I'll put a route together & post a map for everyone with a start (breakfast) meeting location.
That looks like a good shakedown run before the Bonzai, I should be able to make it :D

What time are you guys planning on meeting for breakfast?

I've updated the list (refer to post #44 for the complete list), now 17 18 of us.

We haven't come to a consensus as of yet, but I'm thinking we should be in Hasting by 9:00

or 9:30 & on the road an hour or so later. We'll hash it out here pretty soon.

Hey, As long as you're accepting newbies (just to the group rides not to the forum that is), count me in as well. Thanks for putting this together and I look forward to meeting all fellow FJR's. jevers
