I'm not cougar...but I say why not...we'll jes pull over a couple more chairs.. I'm sure one or two might cancel at the last minute anyways.

I'm sure cougar will be along shortly to tell you the real story of how much graft will be req'd to get in.
More than enough room! We'll need you there, someone might choke on a fri.

WooHoo....first to post. Had a great time guys. Get ready for January thaw. Maybe we can squeeze a day trip out of it. I'll post pictures once the camera warms up.

Thanks for putting this together Alex and it was definitely nice to see everyone. I'm not sure who had more fun, me or the wife. :yahoo:

Here are a couple of shots to hold you over until Victor(artistic rider) - the official photographer of the midwest meets posts up...c'mon Victor! :clapping:

griff (off camera), RiderCoachLar, artistic rider(off camera), cougar8000, evilmedic's wife, evilmedic and murph (and TriggerT off camera)

and 0Face, and a couple of newer FJR riders - don't know their handles but I know that they have an '07 that they took on their honeymoon up to Niagra and their names both sound the same, Aaron and Erin(sp?)...anyways thanks for hanging with us, and of course Ed/mxvet whose FJR has 100k+ miles and is a regular over on ST.net.

Bluebullet and wife had the long distance award (as usual) to come all the way up from Indy! Way to go guys...good to see you again, hope to ride with you next year. :clapping:

If I missed anybody, I'm sorry and the omission was certainly intentional.

:)

BTW, if anybody is interested in my new FJR piccies, they are in this thread...

Talk about whipped... can't believe someone's wife objects to beer and chicken wings. But I do love a hamburger. You can count me in.

Yes I am whipped, but atleast I showed up in spite of some obviously forthcoming derisive comments.

Seriously though, I'm sorry I missed meeting you...Maybe in the winter or spring. :clapping:

Yeah baby! I still have my soul! Thats why I hate pictures. After so many you have no soul left. Anyway I can post pictures but they tend to be a little large. So here is the link.. Nov 15th pics

Thanks for the piccies! They are outstanding. Sorry I posted mine now...and thanks also for not taking pictures while I was stuffing cheeseburger down my face.

btw you can have photobucket automatically resize your uploaded jpg files down to 17" monitor size during upload. Then posting is no problem...that's what I do anyways...MR sideways wheelie on the ural.

First, a HUGE thanks to Alex for stepping up and scheduling something. I'm sorry I've been so distracted with family biz (for those who haven't gone through it, losing a parent sucks out loud).

I had a great time seeing some familiar faces and, as usual, meeting some new ones like AFCJER (and Mrs. AFCJER) & MXVET57.

Great to see wheatonFJR well on the road to recovery and with a replacement bike already. It's true what they say, you can't keep a good man.....parked! Nice pics, Mark. Always good to see griff, too.

Great news from evilmedic13 and Melissa about their upcoming addition to the family: a new bouncing baby............BMW! And I'm not even that jealous...too much........hardly.

Thanks for the pics, artistic rider. I was just saying how there's way too few pictures of the top of my head and my grey thinning hair posted on the internet! Hoping to do the Toys For Tots ride with you in a few weeks. Hoping we can get a good FJR entourage to escort you and the Ural full of toys!

Murph, I hope the wife didn't spend too much at the mall while you were eating and sipping on.....oh, never mind, I won't go there.

Good to see OFace, the guy I'll always credit and/or blame for getting me to sell my '03 and buy a beautiful '06.

Didn't get a chance to talk much to Bluebullet and the Mrs. but it sure was way cool having you guys here from Indy again.

And for anyone who hasn't been to a Chicago area FJR gathering yet, if you think hanging out on the forums with these guys is a good time, you should try meeting them in person. They rock :punk:
