Well I took it for a spin today, and all I have to say is WOW its a fun bike to ride, luckly no ticking when it was started up so thats something I dont need to worry about, its been awhile since I have ridden a shaft driven bike, is it normal to make that whirling noise when coming to a stop? is seems to be coming from the axle, I thought it was normal but I figure I would double check with ya guys.
It was also nice to sit on a bike and actually see behind me with the stock mirrors, being 6'1'' I felt some wind blast but it wasent all that bad, the bike definatly has some power to it, not like my old fz1 but its there when you need it, turning was a breeze, way better than the fz1 was thats for sure.
The only problem was I dident buy it, were still a little apart when it comes down to the price.
They want 8500, it has almost 13,000 miles, it comes with givi tail bag and bar risers, the rear tire looks like it will need changed soon.
I'm trading in a 1999 triumph thunderbird sport with 6900 miles I still owe on it so with the negative money on it and the buying price I will be paying 230 a month for 60 months, I said I would do 200 a month and they said that I need 1500 bucks as a down payment and it will give me 199 a month for 60 months. They wont budge off that 8500 for some reason.
Any suggestions?
