Lemme give you a remedial lesson about the right angle to un-cock your head at WFO. I have a demonstration clock you can practice with.....sans the "l"......and I'll leave more than polar bears on your glasses when I'm through.

Bases loaded, bottom of the ninth, full count and a tie score.

Nutster gets the signal from the bench, winds up and throws... It's a blazing fast ball!

Batter swings and it's a hit! It's going, going... It's over the center field wall for a Grand Slam! The Igginator wins the Series and the crowd goes wild!

:****:
I was a bit tickled with myself when I cogitated that double entendre into existence.

To have TWN tip his hat.....priceless.

Thank you much for the FU....it's the highest praise and isn't even Friday.

Word is from a famous member that a session of rapid shifting whilst upon the centerstand will remove said seizure inducing icons. And we're into page 2. Please, oh God of Spring, pour forth thy decanter of warm sunshine filled days, and soon.

Here ya go, now fix the blinking clock. :dribble:

Now that's what I call a dogpile! :clapping:

Seriously, the only way to stop the HH and MM separator colon from flashing during normal operation of the clock is to convince some Yamaha chip supplier in Japan (or Taiwan, or Korea, or Malayasia, or some fucking place) to change the programming.

I dunno? With all this talk of cocking and un-cocking...at least nobody has gone half-cocked.

Question: If you go fast enough will the blinking colon slow down?

Thanks everybody, ya'll been lots of help.
We're only here to hep! Heppin' is wunna thuh thangs thet we'uns kin dew reel ghud. 'Sides, now y'noe more'en yuh did afore.

So, what you're saying if I understand you right, is that I should un-cock my head to see the clock if I have polar bears on my glasses? :dntknw: Hmmmm, I still don't get it.

Nope....I think I spelled it correctly. Please try and keep up.

Last time I ask a dumb ass question like that one, Thanks everybody, ya'll been lots of help.
Ya know, I've had a really shitty day and reading through all these shit piles heaped upon your question has me engaged in a full-on belly laugh right now. So, thanks and keep 'em coming!

:good:

Fifth gear speeds will slow down the space/time curve, but alas, blinking colons will return on reentry. :dribble:

That's not very good hillbilly speak, this is hillbilly speak, "Go crawl up a hogs ass and have a ham sandwich."

frayne,

I think that the left coasters on this forum might take exception to a derogatory term like "Hillbilly"................... :guitar:

How about "Hill William" next time,............K? :trinibob:

They are a bit sensitive about such things you know! :eek:hno-smiley02:
