Questions for Sedona??

My wife and the gals are planning a 5 day getaway for Sedona in June. Any recommendations for a place to stay? Some of the resorts listed are wayyyyyyyyy beyond our means.

I don't know if this place rents rooms, outside of the time-share deal but it is worth looking into.

We stayed there in June, using timeshare points and it was one of the nicest places we've ever been to. The 'cottages' are actually mobile homes, but they are well disguised. Everything was as it should be. We had a wonderful week. Our bikes were parked right outside the door. Can't recommend it highly enough.

If funds run to it (or you can stomach a timeshare presentation without buying anything), do try the Jeep Eater tour. Everyone in town does Jeep tours but one company runs H2 Hummers to places that Jeeps cannot go. Ask for their Extreme Tour. Loads of fun but hang on tightly!

Stayed here a few times. The 2 bedrom suite is nice (basically a studio and 1 bedroom joined)

If you get a chance and have the coin, go on a sunrise hot air balloon ride. We used Red Rock Balloons. (no affiliation)
