OM, I'd love to make this sweat fest, but I'd die of heat prostration following RV's up 49 to the Northland. I wasn't going to mention you flying (others beat me to it) so have a vunderbah ride with the NorCal Peeps.

I trust you've fresh rubber, RsvlFeej?
Just the rear. Not even to wear bars on the front, yet - although I imagine chasing you and brother Sean around the hills will dramatically shorten whatever life span that front has left in it.
Good one, Patrick!

Howzaboot Katrina's in Auburn at 0700?

And we'll release the hounds about 0745?

It'll be a wickedly good summer day in the mountains, ......going fast and leaning a lot.

I'll put this on the initial post, too....just in case one of these other weenies steps up.
So, like what's your route? Would you be jammin' my way? Perhaps Frankenweenie could tag along?

Damn, as hot as it's going to be I think I might be glad I'm sitting this one out.

I would have pushed for a coast ride, but the traffic would almost make the heat a better alternative.

Be safe. I'll be thinking about you all. xoxoxo

Mark

I was in the KMart parking lot where old Michelle is employed this morning at 0600..And what do ya know? Old Puss in yellow boots wasn't there..

Seems walmart offered him half salary, but double discount on Depends.

From what I could gather ol' sissy pants bit the offer and jumped ship. But neglected to inform some of us..

I drove around for an hour and left in disgust..

Last time I'm showing up for one of his rides... :(

Whew, for a second there I thought you said you were feeling up Miss Lucy
Well Mark, of course I was feeling up my Miss Lucy Liu! Don't you pet your moto? Show me a man who does not caress his motorcycle, doesn't jack off his dog and won't eat out his wife - and I can steal all three of them away from him! jes' sayin' and nuff' said Bro'!

Very nice photos...and they accurately describe both sides of Bugnatr's personality.

Ricky racer...and the "other side" - Ole an Sven.

Just a few more shots from the day.

On the way "up there".

Bugnatr and his groovy pet FZ1 (which he's taught how to wheelie at speed).

Doug (Bug) didn't want me snapping pics of him. He was concerned that I'd

use them to portray him in a less than dignified manner.

Pffffft.

Worry NOT, Bugman. (I was even kind to Sac Mike, fer chrissake!)

Quincy-La Porte asphalt.

IMG_2433.jpg

Not as smooth in places.

La Porte parade.

Bugman was shaking hands and kissing babies.

It's difficult to take pics while you're riding at 3 mph and stopping and going. Two hands ain't enough.

He insisted I hand him the camera for a shot.

Good job, Dougie.

Lots of iron in the dirt up here, I'd guess.

If I could add....

I'm pretty familiar with most of the best motorcycling roads in this part of the state, and it is my VERY humble opinion that

a loop including Bucks Lake Road and Quincy LaPorte road might be the most enjoyable, FULL day of twisty riding in these parts.

("These parts" being all of Northern California.) Don't wanna argue. ...Just sayin'.
