Tried a search for tire sizes and found nothing. When looking up tire size on line for Michelin Road Pilot 2 found zr tire size instead of r tire size. Is there a difference and can the zr size be used? I don't have my FJR with me and can't look at the existing tires.

Thanks Gary

R just means radial. If there's no R it's not a radial tire.

The most common speed ratings I've seen when shopping car tires are none specified, H, V, and Z. H was good for 130, V was good for 149, and Z was rated over 149. As cars with higher speeds became available, a couple more levels have been added, W and Y, for up to 168 and 186 respectively, but for the bike, you don't want a tire without the Z.
