That is one clean rig B. E. Coyote, if I was in the market for a hack setup I'd jump on this. I ran a Velorex 562 on a H-D Big Twin 88 for many years!

The bike is an 02 GSA. It has almost 59k on it. The bike has been well taken care of but is far from a garage queen.

Thanks' date='
Here is the price of the steering mod from DMC's web site.

[b']BMW R1150 GS Front Ball Joint Mount[/b]

Mount Replaced to reduce steering effort: $1,000.00

$1,000 is a lot of money but it makes a huge difference. I drove it 700 miles this weekend with no problems. Before the mod I would have been whipped after a decent set of twisties. It is the difference between having and not having power steering in your car.

Here is a pic of the rear wheel. It is awesome. It was aslo $1,000 plus shipping plus the tire. This car tire should be good for 40k a Tourance would last about 2,000 miles on a hack.

The HT bags are huge. This GS did not go to all of those places but my previous one did.
