Thanks again for the code Jeff.

In my realization that my time is extremely short lately, I have decided to go ahead and let Roseville Yammy take care of it all for me. Time=money and it's actually cheaper for me to pay them to do it than for me to do it myself.

THANKS FOR ALL THE HARD WORK!

Also, and this is more for RenoJohn or HaulinAshe if they haven't glossed over this post...i'm guessing that some repair is necessary after 30,000 miles or are these more or less set with minimal maintenance for the lifetime of the bike/rider/parts?
Yep, need to service your shock somewhere in the 25 - 30K mile range. But recharging/rebuilding a vastly superior shock beats replacing the at-best mediocre stock shock (and yes, both will cost you...)

The company in Oklahoma City WWW.HOUSEOFHORSEPOWER.COM gave me a round $ of 500. for the front forks rebuilt with Race Tech Gold Valve + oil & seals after I ship them to him. The rear shock was 900. to 1000. With a dual ride spring shipped to my door Is this about the right price.

Jeff,

A quick note to publicly say thanks for setting this up! I know that we experienced a little turbulence from the office types at RT, but as we say in the restaurant biz, what really matters is what's on the plate, and man, the hardware was out of this world...

Install write up is posted here.

Thanks again for the help, hand holding and everything else you did to make this happen!!

You are very welcome. You guys and RT are doing all the work. My part was easy.

I'm looking to do the forks about January. The local Race Tech shop is usually at the Int'l Cycle Show in DC in January, and they usually have a show discount (10% I think). For the last group buy, they would match the discount on parts, but no labor. Upside is I can ride up there in about 30 mins versus shipping the forks to Cali.

Here are some pics of the race tech set up on a genII. Anyone who decides on this set up will not be disappointed. Thanks Jeff for setting this up and hooking me up with the first prototype it was cool knowing I had the only set up like this for a few months
