Sorry James, the Gen1 and Gen2 racks are not interchangeable.

I too had thought about a top case but since the Yamaha is no longer available for my bike and the Givi backrest on the N52 top case looks uncomfortable I thought this one might be a good option since my wife is selling her 2010 VFR and wants to ride behind me. I would appreciate your thoughts on this and why you did not stick with this unit as it looks very comfey. Is there something else I should consider? Please respond to be directly at [email protected] as I find this website madeningly inefficient.

thanks for the report that pointed me to this request. it's taken care of. i don't understand what is meant by "cracked" and it's context. if you want to discuss it, feel free to PM me instead of distracting from the OPs classified.

I think some edit functions only "wake up" after you exceed a minimum post count.

He was engaged in carpet bombing the Classified section with new threads instead of bumping existing threads. I sent him a friendly reminder via PM...which he then ignored. So, he received a more direct reminder after he did it again and must interpret that as "cracked". Oh well. Life's too short for miserable users.
