What a bad thing to happen on my birthday of all days. ( Thank you BTW, Toecutter for the Birthday Wish !) Anyway, it was all my fault.

I was reaching across the bike for something and must have hit the mirror or handlebar or something. She went over like a rock. I picked

her up as fast as I could all by myself. She seemed light, but the adrenelin was flowing. One saddel bag had fallen right off, and the mirror

was bent. I got the bag back on and the mirror straightened, and she looks good as new. Word of advice. Be carefull and pay attention....

Damn; looks like an expensive mishap. However, if you've no better sense than to park your rocket on a slick, highly-waxed surface, then I guess you get what you deserve.

Where did ya get that HUGE keyboard and monitor??? Or, did you just use the same camera angle that make your hands seem so large??? :D :lol:

funny stuff!

a coworker knocked my bike over one day and I was PISSED at him for a short time.. haha (same thing, small FJR on my desk)... Almost took a pic and uploaded it

Jesse;

First off Happy B-day.

What a bummer.

I was really concerned, not sure if you were riding it etc. I now see that maybe you didn't put down the side stand too well, that's known to happen on FJR's. Please be more careful, and let this be a lesson to all. :eek:

There I was, reading this on my itty-bitty screened mobile, and thinking - "There goes another, what is it with these guys? Hope it doesn't rub off onto me".

Come to look again this morning on my desk-top ---

Doooooh! Got me! Good one!

Had me until he said he reached across and knocked it over. All I could think then, is what kind of f'ing gorilla is this guy? LOL Almost.

Thanks for the birthday greetings. I'm sure the first and last time Easter will fall on 3/23 in my lifetime. Glad to make some of you chuckle a little. Life is way too short to be too serious.

Believe it or not, you all almost got the last laugh on me tonight. I was out in the garage , painted smooth and slippery garage floor mind you, and I was in socks, ( DUH ) just moving Rhonda around a little to get her back against the wall where she belongs. I was on the rear left kickstand side and picking up the back end by the grips when I really did almost drop her. I mean, I thought for sure it was all over. I was just moving the bike an inch or two at a time by jerking up and away when all of a sudden it started to go over. I really thought it was lost when all of a sudden it stopped and came back. Almost like I had an FJR angel on the other side stopping it from going over. Now I know worse things can happen, and many have dropped theirs doing similar things, but that would have ruined my day having never dropped her.

It was close. Now I feel like the little boy who cried wolf. OK, no more jokes from me................for a while. J
