By 2008 there were no significant problems left to fix. LOL
{you might spend an hour or two reading about the "spider" ground wire problems that some Gen. 2 bikes experience. It is not a big deal if you do your own work but might be a little expensive if you have the problem and take it to a con artist or a dealership to be fixed. There seems to be no permanent damage to the electrical system or to the bike once it is fixed}. The most important thing is to be familiar with the symptoms so you are not freaked out if it happens. I experienced the problem while down in Florida and rode the bike back to South Carolina before I fixed it, but I would have just fixed it down there if I had really known what was happening. My bad, I had read plenty of posts about the "spider" but did not bother to "really" read them. LOL
