No, this is not about anyone's anatomy.
Pilot Road 2s

I kinda expected to wear out the rear tire before the front but.....

Re-mount that dude backwards and I bet you can get another ride out of it...

So whassup BigFJR... you going to respond or what? We're waiting.
I know, I know. I was waiting for further derision but the forum seems to have relaxed a bit.

Both tires mounted at the same time (new) and the rear is well worn also but not totally gone. I knew replacements were on the horizon but this came as a real shock. Came out to leave and I thought I'd rode through some paint on the way to work. About 10k miles on these I'd guess but now I've lost the receipt for the things. Run 36 psi front and 41 rear. Virtually all commute miles of 110/day and about 60 of those are on the slab.

Been riding (legally) on the road for 36 years and have not had this issue before. My first FJR so will be paying closer attention

Don't wait for derision. Head it off before it gets too bad.

I am thinking that 36 psi is most of your problem. We obviously don't all agree on this one but 41/41 front/rear is a pretty good start. If you don't like the way 41 feels on the front, be prepared to wear out that tire a little early.

Although 10K miles does not really sound all that bad to me.
