Tried ordering this bag from Sport Bike Effects and they claim it is no longer available.

I,m looking for something I can affix to my rear seat which would enable me to carry smaller items thus allowing me to remove my hard bags for day trips. Does anybody know of anyone else who might carry something like this?

It would help if you gave us a picture or a link of the one you originally wanted. ;)

I usually have THIS ONE mounted to the seat of my FZ.

I've been using the N/R 150 on the back seat. Expandable, with side pockets, it fits well and holds mucho stuff. It does not fit as well as the 100 with the seat removed.

I went this route,
https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php?s...l=Rigg+Tail+Bag

and haven't regretted it for a single minute. Matter a fact, I am thinking of trying to mount a slightly larger bag than the one shown in that thread, since stuffing my Stich into the bag can be a little tight.

:good:
https://home.nycap.rr.com/pnelson1/FJRtailbag.htm I've been saving this in favorites. I really like that set up and looking to do it when my Russel comes back.

Hmmmmm, I wonder what ever happened to "Bunker"? For a guy with only 17 total posts he sure made a valuable contribution to the forum.... :dntknw:

I have been looking at trying a Nelson CL-200 to replace my CL-100. The bag has a larger volume, but a smaller foot print, so there should be a little more room to work with, and hopefully the side pockets will be high enough to keep them from being in contact with grab rails. I just need to find the money to do it!

Let us know what you come up with. I was thinking of the CL150 with the side pouches but the 200 looks better.

Thanks

I presently have a https://chicaneusa.com/summit.htm and is very useful but I would like to store and lock my helmet at times.

If I don't go the CL-200 route, the other option I have thought of is having Linda at Custom Tank Bags, make a custom bag that would be permanently attached to the the rear seat pan. I will need to see about getting an extra rear seat pan first, and then in my "Free Time" design what I think will work best and full fill the requirements I want. If I end up going that route, I will have to figure out a way to post pics.

If you would like something that doesn't require bungee cords you check out www.luggagelocker.com tail bag. I had one on my 03 for a couple of years and it works real well.

I had THIS ONE HERE on my FJR.

Some options here
That Axio looks cool.
I have the AXIO carbon Fibre but it's not grey as in the photo it is jet black! Looks ******* cool though....If you don't want to carry too much in it, it's fantastic for your odds and ends but expensive. You can take it off the bike and carry it with you as well. Comes with an elastic net too!
